WHEAT FLOUR COFFEE BEAN COOKIES/EGGLESS COFFEE COOKIES/ATTA COOKIES

Today have come up with the most delicious and kids favourite coffee bean cookies.These mini cookies are very easy and can prepare with the available ingredients at home.Its eggless and no raising agents like baking powder and baking soda is added.Its also many moms favourite as it’s done with the wheat flour.Without further delay let’s move on to the ingredients.

INGREDIENTS(makes 20-24 mini cookies)

  • 60gms of wheat flour.(have used aashirvaad)
  • 20 gms of cornflour.( if not available can use cornstarch or wheat flour.)
  • 10gms of coco powder.
  • 50 gms of unsalted butter.
  • 40gms of powdered sugar.
  • One tablespoon of hot milk.
  • One teaspoon of coffee powder.(you can add more if u like the strong coffee flavour.)
  • Mix milk and coffee powder.
  • METHOD

    • Add butter and sugar to a bowl and mix till creamy.
    • Now add the coffee liquid to it and mix again.
      Then add wheat flour,cornflour and coco powder.
      Mix all together.
    • Don’t knead too much,when you get a soft dough as you see in the below picture stop kneading.The dough should not be sticky.
    • Line the parchment paper in a baking tray,take a small chickpeas size ball,roll it into a oval shape and with a help of a butter knife make a small slit as shown in the picture below.
    • Repeat the process and refrigerate the cookies for one hour.
    • Preheat oven to 180 degree celcius for 10 minutes.
      After one hour,bake for 12-15 minutes.
      Once it’s baked,remove the cookies from the oven and leave it on the kitchen counter top for 10 minutes.
  • Look at the crispness of the cookies.

    Scrumptious,mini coffee bean cookies are ready to serve.

    NOTES

    • If you feel the dough is watery,add little flour.
    • Each oven settings are different so always keep an eye on the cookies,as it’s mini ones it can easily get burnt at the bottom.
    • You can do this cookies with all purpose flour also.
    • If cornflour is not available you can skip it and use wheat flour alone.
